Listen up because this tall lady giraffe is about to whisper a secret in your ear. She doesn’t say much, but it’s always something straight from the heart.
Artist’s Thoughts
I didn’t realize this was a lady giraffe until we digitized the image. Only females have hair on their ossicones (the skin-covered cartilage protrusions). The males rub the hair off when they fight.
Like many of my silk screens, this image was originally printed on a colored paper with white used for one of the ink colors.
